About Wendy’s

Wendy’s is one of the most popular fast foods in the USA – just behind McDonald’s and the Burger King Chain. More than three-quarters of the premises of this network operate in North America, but Wendy’s has been trying to enter other markets for years. The chain restaurants were present in such countries as the Netherlands, Germany, Russia or Great Britain.

About 77% of Wendy’s restaurants are franchises, most of which are located in North America. Wendy and her branch employ over 46,000 people in a global operation. In the fiscal year 2006, the company had $ 9.44 million (USD) in total sales. While Wendy’s sets standards for the external appearance of the store, the quality of food and menus, the owners of individual control over the hours of operations, interior decoration, their prices, and employees uniforms and square.

Menu

The company does not have some sandwiches, such as Big Whopper. Instead, square burger pancakes use the signature object in their sandwiches. The company advertises that the burgers are made of fresh meat from the ground, no frozen cakes.
Wendy’s usually offers two special hamburger patties, Patty’s “Junior” 1.78 ounces (approx. 50.4 grams) and her “Single” 4 ounces (113.4 grams) of Patty. Both patties are sold in a single, double and triple-size sandwich. The earlier size of 2 ounces for junior Patty was altered to its current size in 2007 to save for money from rising food costs. Wendy originally had only two types of chicken sandwiches, fried and grilled. The chicken sandwich with their spicy started as a promotional sandwich but was transferred to the full-time menu in 1996 due to its popularity and the fact that compared to the most promotional sandwiches, it was much easier to introduce (once the same as spices standard coated with a chicken sandwich).

The Frescata line of sandwiches went ahead of promotional items to the main menu. After passing through several changes, Turkey and Switzerland, as well as Ham and Switzerland, were introduced into the full-time menu. However, Frescata sandwiches were discontinued in December 2007.

In 1988, Wendy’s was the first fast-food chain to create one menu item the price in which the value of all the items listed in this menu was priced at only 99 cents. The menu was renovated in 2007 due to rising quality costs as Super Menu which price ranges from 99 cents to $2.00.

Breakfast

In mid-2007, Wendy began the public debut of a new breakfast menu in American and Canadian stores. Wendy’s experimented with serving breakfast for a short time in the mid-1980s, but the efforts turned out to be ineffective due to many issues. While about 12 Wendy restaurants in the United States and its territory have been serving breakfast since then, Wendy’s was not in the whole company serving breakfast new breakfast menu was expected to be taken all Wendy’s in (US United States) by the end of 2009, but from May 2010, many Wendy’s franchises throughout the country still do not serve the breakfast menu.
The new breakfast menu is a bit different from that used in 1980 and is organised as well as its lunch/dinner menu with meals of different sides, as well as mixed fruits. Menu item contains several sandwiches breakfast served on biscuits, frescuit and roll Kaiser, burritos and orders breakfasts’ side of hash browns, muffins and cinnamon bark. To avoid the same issues of the original offer towards the 1980 breakfast, the new menu was designed to facilitate the work, reduce costs and reduce preparation time.
